Off to the Fancy Food Show

For those of you in the food industry, you probably already know of the Fancy Food Show. If you haven’t heard of it, you can learn more here. It is put on by the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade. They have shows twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer.

This year, the summer show will be held in Washington D.C. The theme is Discovery in DC. Here are a few facts about the show:

* 180,000 products including confections, cheese, coffee, snacks, spices, ethnic, natural, organic and more.

* 2,400 exhibitors

* 80 countries represented

* 24,000 attendees.
